Thanks for the nice article, Manuel. For a future article it would be interesting to treat Project Loom (JDK coroutines) and possibly other concurrency structures/improvements on the JVM that developers might leverage, or the Kotlin language can leverage (if it doesn't do so already). For Android devs it is not yet possible to use all the latest and greatest JDK features, but at some point that might be possible. Until then, this is already a nice little overview article with enough references for everybody interested to learn more.
